How to get out of bed to get your exercise workout in!
- Decide on your ideal wake up time. Start slowly, by waking just 15-30 minutes earlier than usual. Get used to this for a few days. Then cut back another 15 minutes. Do this gradually until you get to your goal time.
- Go to bed earlier. Turn off the TV, shut the internet down, and a grab book! I find reading before bed helps relax to fall asleep sooner.
- Have your alarm clock far from you bed. If it’s right next to your bed, you’ll hit snooze button. Never hit snooze.
- Get going. After you turn off the alarm head towards the bathroom.
- Do your workout. You know you will feel great when you are done! What a great way to start your day!
